Project Manager (Insurance / Health / Financial Services / Consulting)

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support strategic business and technology transformation initiatives. The role will be responsible for managing multiple projects and workstreams, strengthening project governance, providing executive-level reporting, and driving effective collaboration across business, technology, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project & Portfolio Management

• Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent projects and workstreams supporting business and technology transformation initiatives.
• Support portfolio planning, prioritization, dependency management, and roadmap development.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives, business strategy, and technology goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, operational efficiency, and organizational outcomes.

Governance, Reporting & Delivery Assurance

• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, reporting standards, and project controls.
• Develop executive dashboards, portfolio reports, KPI tracking, milestone reports, and project/program health assessments.
• Prepare materials for Steering Committees, leadership reviews, governance boards, and executive stakeholders.
• Monitor project health and challenge unsupported timelines, assumptions, risks, and delivery commitments.

Business Case & Investment Management

• Support the development, refinement, and governance of business cases.
• Track benefits realization, investment performance, and expected business outcomes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to assess opportunities, risks, costs, and strategic value.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to support funding and prioritization decisions.

Stakeholder Leadership

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business, technology, and operations leaders.
• Drive collaboration across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Facilitate governance forums, workshops, planning sessions, and decision-making meetings.
• Influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive accountability for agreed outcomes.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

• Maintain and govern RAID processes across projects and programs.
• Proactively identify delivery risks, organizational impacts, and cross-project dependencies.
• Escalate critical issues and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate recovery plans for projects requiring corrective action.

Vendor & Resource Coordination

• Coordinate activities across internal teams, contractors, vendors, and delivery partners, where applicable.
• Support resource planning, capacity management, demand forecasting, and workload balancing.
• Monitor resource utilization and identify potential delivery constraints.

Change & Transformation Support

• Support business transformation, technology modernization, and organizational change initiatives.
• Drive adoption activities and transition planning where required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management, governance, and delivery practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5-7+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, PMO, Transformation, or Technology Delivery roles.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives within enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in governance, portfolio reporting, executive communications, and stakeholder management.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations, reporting packs, metrics, and dashboards.
• Demonstrated experience supporting strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Insurance, Health, Benefits, Financial Services, Consulting, or Technology organizations.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
• Experience supporting portfolio management, PMO functions, or enterprise transformation programs.
• Exposure to technology transformation, digital initiatives, automation, AI, or enterprise platforms.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Clarity, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of business case development, financial tracking, and benefits realization management.
• Experience working with geographically distributed global teams.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid Setup (1-2x onsite/week in BGC)

Work Schedule: Mid-shift

Contract Duration: 1 year (extendable/renewable)
