Job Description

Project Manager - HR Delivery

Job Summary

The Project Manager HR Delivery is responsible for managing the planning, coordination, readiness, and execution of HR Technology and HR Delivery initiatives. This role partners closely with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Service Providers, IT, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to translate business needs into actionable plans and support successful delivery across a complex, global environment. The role combines strong program management, stakeholder coordination, and change support to help ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and adopted successfully.

This role is distinct from IT delivery leadership. While IT is accountable for technical solution design, system configuration, development, integrations, environments, security, and production support, the Project Manager, HR Delivery supports the business side of delivery—coordinating business requirements, stakeholder alignment, process readiness, communications, training, adoption, and operational follow-through.

The individual must possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, present clearly to leadership, and work effectively across a matrixed organization. They should demonstrate sound judgment, business acumen, and a service-oriented mindset while managing competing priorities, resolving issues, and supporting continuous improvement. Success in this role requires the ability to build strong working relationships, drive results through collaboration, and balance structured execution with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage governance activities for the HR Technology operating model, including program cadence, decision forums, and escalation tracking
  • Support governance frameworks that ensure effective HR operations, clear accountability, and alignment across HR, IT, vendors, finance, and other partner teams
  • Manage integrated business program plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across HR technology and service delivery workstreams
  • Maintain program tools, status reporting, and leadership updates to provide visibility into progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes
  • Manage the business side of delivery in partnership with IT, coordinating business requirements, HR decisions, stakeholder alignment, and readiness activities to support successful implementation
  • Monitor capacity, risks, issues, actions, and decisions, and coordinate timely resolution of blockers and cross-functional dependencies
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence, HR Service Delivery, regional HR, operations, finance, IT, and external partners to align priorities and support execution
  • Coordinate vendor and implementation partner activities from a business program perspective, ensuring requirements, decisions, handoffs, readiness, and support models are effectively managed
  • Drive process improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency within the HR Delivery governance framework
  • Support business case development, roadmap planning, and prioritization of initiatives based on business value, readiness, and resource capacity
  • Manage change activities, including impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, communications, training coordination, readiness planning, and adoption support
  • Support business readiness and adoption, including process documentation, operating model alignment, stakeholder preparedness, and transition planning for go-live
  • Track post-go-live stabilization, adoption metrics, feedback, and continuous improvement actions to sustain outcomes and improve the colleague's experience
