Project Manager - Core Banking

Role Overview: The Technical/Functional Project Manager / SME will lead end-to-end implementation of the TURING Core Banking System (CBS) for banks in the Philippines. The role requires a strong blend of banking domain expertise, CBS functional knowledge, and technical

coordination capabilities to ensure successful regulatory-compliant delivery aligned with

BSP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Delivery & Governance

• Lead full lifecycle CBS implementation – Requirements → Configuration → UAT → Migration → Go-Live → Stabilization
• Own project planning, timelines, risk management, and stakeholder communication
• Drive execution with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Integration, Support)

2. Functional SME Responsibilities

Act as a Core Banking SME for modules like:

• CASA (Savings/Current Accounts)
• Loans & Deposits
• GL & Accounting
• Customer Management (CIF)

Conduct requirement workshops with client stakeholders

Prepare & validate:

• BRD / FRD
• Process flows
• Product configuration documents

Ensure alignment with the Philippines banking practices

3. Technical Coordination

Work closely with engineering teams on:

• API integrations (payment systems, switches, channels)
• Data migration planning and validation
• Third-party system integrations

Translate functional requirements into technical deliverables

4. Regulatory & Compliance (Critical for Philippines)

Ensure adherence to BSP regulations and reporting requirements

Support implementation of:

• AML/KYC compliance
• Regulatory reporting formats
• Audit readiness and data traceability

Work with client teams for compliance validation and sign-offs

5. Testing & Go-Live Readiness

Drive UAT planning and execution

Validate business scenarios and regulatory use cases

Ensure production readiness:

• Data migration validation
• User training
• Cutover planning

Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization

Required Skills & Experience

Domain Expertise

• 3-5 years in Core Banking / Banking Operations
• Strong exposure to CBS implementation (preferably Fintech/CBS products)
• Experience in the Philippines banking or BSP-regulated environment (preferred)

Functional Knowledge

• CASA, Loans, GL, Customer Lifecycle
• Banking operations, reconciliation, and reporting
• Regulatory compliance (BSP / similar regulators)

Technical Understanding

Familiarity with:

• APIs / Microservices-based architecture
• Integration with payment systems (e.g., switches, digital channels)
• Data migration and reconciliation
• Ability to interface with engineering teams effectively
