Overview of the Position
The Project Manager leads multiple concurrent construction projects from planning through execution and close-out, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to safety and quality standards, and full alignment with client expectations. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with procurement, design, commercial, and site teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion for multiple fit-out or construction projects.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and service delivery teams to meet project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards on-site.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, and proactively resolve project issues.
- Lead client walkthroughs, progress reviews, and final handovers with a focus on client satisfaction and delivery excellence.
- Mentor project-in-charge (PIC) staff and other site leaders, ensuring high performance and alignment to company standards.
- Prepare executive project reports and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement corrective actions, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure punch list closure within 30 days post-turnover.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Educational Requirements
• Licensed Civil Engineer
• PMP Certification is a plus
• At least 8 years of experience in construction project management with experience managing multiple fit-out or civil projects
