Project Manager

As a Project Manager focusing on Solar, you will help the Company complete a full scale Greenfield / Brownfield solar PV power project. This will entail from Site Identification, Land Acquisition, Permitting, Equipment Procurement, and Construction Management.  You will collaborate across different functions; with Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Project Development Teams to ensure that projects are built on time, within budget, and superior quality. 

You must be able to communicate the project position clearly and effectively, as well as be able to explain or to laymanize information in a way that different groups of people will understand. 

You will be responsible for the following tasks: 

Project Management 

• Prepares the Work Plan / Critical Path Schedule of the Project; 
• Identifies and enrolls the resources needed to drive completion of the project; 
• Lead and ensures that the three (3) key aspects of the project; Cost, Schedule, & Quality are adhered to and met; 

Government Relations 

• Prepares all documents necessary for the application of various permits, contracts and/or certificates from different government agencies, such as but not limited to the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Energy, Energy Regulation Commission and other local and national government offices; 
• Acts as key liaison to the said government agencies related to the issuance of necessary permits and contracts for the development of the project; 
• Coordinates with other consultants and contractors pertaining to the conduct of required studies for the development of power projects; 
• Performs other function related to government liaison as may be assigned by the management; 

Contracts and Procurement 

• Conducts bidding / canvass of the required third party services for the development of various power project; 
• Coordinates with local and international EPC for the implementation of projects; 
• Manages sourcing and purchasing of goods and services needed by the project; 
• Prepares necessary reports needed by the management. 

Others 

• Performs other functions as may be assigned by the Senior Project Managers, the Leadership Team, or by the President & CEO. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
• Proven experience managing solar renewable energy projects from planning through commissioning.
• Knowledge of site assessment, permitting, budgeting, procurement, and stakeholder management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites as needed.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage.
