Role Description The Project Manager role at AlternativePower Solutions, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in San Pedro. The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and completion of electro-technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project schedules, managing resources and vendors, monitoring progress, and addressing risks or issues that may impact project outcomes. The role also involves collaborating with engineering and technical teams, preparing project documentation and reports, and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders. The Project Manager is expected to uphold safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures throughout each project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Project planning and coordination skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Experience managing technical or electro-technical projects, preferably in power, electrical, or energy-related fields.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and documentation, such as project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
- Solid understanding of safety standards and quality control practices in technical project environments.
- Ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and adapt to changing project requirements or constraints.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in San Pedro and support field activities as needed.
