OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
This role aims to support the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of programmes with Biji-biji Initiative, so to achieve its mission of empowering all individuals to realize their potential through education and innovation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the project manager in full-cycle programme implementation, from planning, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment to delivery and evaluation, ensuring quality, timelines, and fiscal discipline in line with organizational strategy.
- Assist in developing concept notes and progress reports that meet stakeholder, funder, and organizational requirements.
- Conduct research and gather information to support project activities, such as identifying potential training providers, speakers, and mentors.
- Coordinate with partners, sponsors, and government stakeholders to ensure smooth programme implementation, programme reach and long-term collaboration.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, branding, and communications teams to ensure streamlined execution and strategic alignment.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and innovation across delivery models and processes.
- Undertake other ad hoc tasks as required to advance organizational objectives.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Must-have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project or programme delivery, with demonstrated ownership of a full project cycle from planning and budgeting through to execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience organizing and delivering a series of workshops, training sessions, or community activities as part of an ongoing programme, rather than standalone events.
- Excellent written and verbal English, with a proven ability to produce concept notes and progress reports that meet funder, partner, and organizational requirements.
- Based in the Philippines, with the willingness to work occasional weekends and to travel to programme sites within the Philippines and the region as required.
Bonus points for
- Experience in the social impact, education, sustainability, or NGO sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines concurrently while adhering to internal SOPs.
- Experience defining and tracking goals, milestones, and KPIs, and using the resulting data to inform reporting, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Experience engaging multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously, including government agencies, community partners, corporate sponsors, and academic institutions, preferably within the Philippines or the wider ASEAN region.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, finance, branding, and communications teams, and proficient in project management and collaboration tools.
