Job Overview
The PMO is responsible for driving strategic, cross-functional transformation initiatives that strengthen organizational capability, accelerate business readiness and reinforce the RC culture within the market. Operating at the intersection of business transformation, capability-building and organizational effectiveness, the role will lead and coordinate high-impact initiatives related to AI capability development, change adoption, associate engagement, talent development, leadership alignment and culture activation. The role acts as a strategic integrator across functions, ensuring business priorities are translated into actionable programs that improve organizational agility, capability and performance.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Transformation, Leadership/Stakeholder Partnership & Organizational Effectiveness
- Lead & coordinate market-wide strategic initiatives that enhance organizational capability, effectiveness, engagement and readiness for future business needs
- Support leadership teams in translating business priorities into structured transformation roadmaps and people-focused initiatives
- Lead initiatives on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning as structured projects.
- Act as a change agent, driving organizational transformation and culture initiatives through project frameworks.
- Coach line managers on leadership effectiveness and associate development.
- Support career progression frameworks and performance management processes as part of talent projects.
AI Capability & Future Skills Enablement
- Champion AI capability-building initiatives across the organization to improve productivity, decision-making and digital fluency
- Identify capability gaps and coordinate learning interventions, workshops and programs related to AI and emerging technologies
- Partner with local functional leaders to embed AI-enabled ways of working into daily operations & team practices
- Partner with global and regional teams to pilot and scale AI solutions that improve productivity and employee experience.
- Ensure ethical and inclusive use of AI tools, balancing efficiency with associate well-being.
Change Management & Adoption
- Develop & implement change management strategies to support organizational initiatives and business transformation efforts
- Drive stakeholder engagement, communication planning and adoption activies to ensure successful implementation of key projects
- Assess org readiness and identify barriers to change, recommending solutions to improve adoption & engagement
Business Objectives & Governance
- Ensure alignment with Mars business philosophy and operating principles in project execution.
- Translate business objectives into project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Provide inputs to the design of business goals and ensure project outcomes support agreed objectives.
Policies & Risk Management
- Monitor compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations, advising managers through project structures.
- Ensure consistent application of policies and practices across projects, mitigating risks of disputes or adverse legal actions.
- Provide recommendations for policy adjustments to maintain competitiveness and talent attraction.
Culture & Associate Experience
- Foster and strengthen the RC culture by leading initiatives that reinforce org values, collaboration and associate engagement & connection
- Coordinate culture activation programs, engagement activities (including health & well-being) and internal communication initiatives
- Monitor associate morale and attitudes, using surveys and impact plans as project tools.
Talent & Resourcing Projects
- Support hiring managers through structured resourcing projects to fill critical roles.
- Manage sourcing, assessment, and selection processes as project deliverables.
- Recommend competitive packages to attract and retain talent.
- Ensure line managers deliver on associate development plans (PDPs) through project tracking.
- Standardize performance assessment processes across functions, ensuring consistency and accountability.
- Drive improvement initiatives where performance gaps are identified.
Governance, Insights & Reporting
- Establish clear project governance structures, dashboards and reporting mechanisms for strategic initiatives
- Track program effectiveness, org engagement indicators and adoption metrics to support continuous improvement
- Prepare executive-level updates and recommendations for leadership reviews and business planning
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in HR/OD, or equivalent) is preferred, especially with specialization in Digital Transformation, Project Management, or AI applications in business.
- Professional certifications in Project Management or HR (SHRM, CIPD, HRCI) are an advantage.
- Exposure to AI, data analytics, or HR technology platforms through formal coursework, certifications, or practical experience is highly desirable.
- Human Capital & Workforce Strategy: Strong background in HR/P&O, organizational development, or workforce planning within multinational or complex business environments.
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience leading cross-functional projects, with ability to translate business objectives into structured plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- AI & Digital Transformation: Practical exposure to AI applications in HR or workforce processes (e.g., recruitment, analytics, learning platforms, automation). Experience in evaluating, piloting, or implementing digital tools that enhance productivity and employee experience.
- Talent Management: Demonstrated success in designing and executing talent attraction, retention, and succession strategies.
- Change Management: Experience acting as a change agent, driving organizational transformation and culture initiatives in volatile or evolving markets.
