Job Description

Purpose: The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing IT projects - covering infrastructure, software deployment, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and audiovisual integrations. The PM ensures on time, within budget, and high quality delivery while coordinating with clients, internal teams, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Initiation
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Create project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and resource plans.
  • Conduct kick-off meetings and align expectations with stakeholders.
  • Execution & Coordination
  • Lead the day-to-day project implementation.
  • Coordinate with technical engineers, vendors, and third-party partners.
  • Manage procurement timelines, delivery schedules, and site readiness.
  • Monitor risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Client Management
  • Maintain regular communication with client stakeholders (IT, procurement, end users).
  • Provide project status reports and documentation.
  • Manage escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Ensure project deliverables meet technical, security, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct UAT, testing, and acceptance procedures.
  • Oversee project handover, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Financial & Contract Oversight
  • Track project budgets, billing milestones, and cost variances.
  • Ensure compliance with POs, SLAs, SOWs.
  • Support cross-teams in reviewing project and sales contracts when needed.
  • Closure & Reporting
  • Conduct project closure meetings, post-mortem reviews, and lessons learned.
  • Complete project documentation, acceptance forms, and turnover to support/operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or any related field
  • Project Management certifications are an advantage (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL)
  • 37 years experience managing IT or technical projects with project coordination, project management or systems engineering/integration functions
  • Strong experience working with cross-functional technical teams
  • Experience handling enterprise clients, especially in regulated industries (ex: banking, manufacturing, utilities)
  • Fundamental knowledge on IT infrastructure such as data center and network, cloud, software deployment, cybersecurity, audio visual, structured cabling system, or overall systems integration
  • Proficiency in using Project Management tool such as Microsoft Project
  • Project Documentation and Technical/Business Writing
  • Basic Financial Analysis (budgeting, cost, margins)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for client-facing coordination
  • Stakeholder or vendor managementLeadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Can work flexible hours when required for deployments or cutover activities
