Project Management Officer

Summary:

This role will provide structured support to the Singapore-based IT Project Manager, ensuring smooth planning, reporting, governance, and stakeholder communication across a portfolio of IT projects. The position requires strong coordination, follow-up discipline, RAID management, and communication skills to keep transformation initiatives on track and aligned with business outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support project planning, milestone tracking, and progress reporting across concurrent initiatives.

Maintain project documentation, risk registers, issue logs, and action trackers in line with dnata standards.

Drive systematic follow-ups with stakeholders, ensuring actions, decisions, and deadlines are closed on time.

Monitor quick wins (automation, licensing, optimization) and track realized benefits.

Proactively maintain and update RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs for all active projects.

Track dependencies across initiatives and ensure they are communicated and managed effectively.

Prepare concise project updates, dashboards, and presentations for Steering Committees, CAB, and other governance forums.

Ensure alignment with dnata and Emirates Group IT (EGIT) project governance frameworks.

Support financial tracking (budgets, TCO analysis, cost savings reporting).

Act as a coordination point between IT, business functions (HR, Finance, Operations), and external vendors/SIs.

Facilitate workshops, prepare communication packs, and support change management activities.

Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies in clear business-friendly language.

Assist in project rollout activities such as end-user communication, training scheduling, and cutover planning.

Support incident follow-up activities and lessons learned documentation like remediation actions.

Promote team engagement through initiatives like IT in Action sharing sessions.

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in IT or a related field and relevant project management certificates.

Minimum 3 years experience in IT Project/PMO support.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP HCM and project management tools. (e.g. MS Project). Additional experience in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and Microsoft 365 will be advantageous.

Background in SCM, Airlines, Logistics, Retail, or Manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.

Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master (at least one required).
