- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Engineer is an advantage
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in civil engineering construction
- At least 3–5 years direct experience in tunnel, underground, or hydropower works
- Experience in dam, hydroelectric, or pumped storage projects is highly preferred
- Experience in QA/QC or site supervision roles under EPC or Design–Build contracts
- Strong knowledge of tunnelling methods (e.g., drill & blast, NATM, TBM awareness)
- Experience in underground structures: portals, adits, shafts, linings
- Familiarity with geotechnical conditions and ground behavior
- Knowledge of QA/QC systems, NCR handling, and ITPs
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Understanding of international standards (ICOLD, FIDIC, or equivalent)
- Conduct daily on-site inspections of tunnelling and underground construction activities
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Monitor excavation, support systems, lining works, waterproofing, and grouting activities
- Ensure quality of workmanship, materials, and construction methodologies
- Identify, record, and report non-conformances (NCRs) and deviations
- Support resolution of site technical issues with contractors and OE team
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed out
- Track construction progress against approved schedule and milestones
- Maintain daily site diaries, inspection logs, and photographic documentation
- Prepare regular inspection reports for OE and client reporting requirements
- Coordinate closely with contractors, designers, and site engineers
- Participate in site coordination meetings, technical discussions, and inspections
- Clarify design intent and construction requirements to ensure proper execution
- Assist in review of method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and work procedures
- Support evaluation of material submissions and construction methodologies
- Ensure compliance with tunnelling standards, safety regulations, and project specifications
