Job Description

Position: Private Banking Operations Team Lead

Office Location: UB Plaza - 23F Pasig (Headquarters)

Job Summary: The Private Banking Operations Team Lead

  • Direct supervision of Private Banking Operations including record maintenance and reporting to both internal and external regulatory bodies of all products/services
  • Control and implementation of the Private Banking business initiatives and ensure compliance with all internal and external requirements by strictly enforcing the bank approved internal controls and adoption of external best practices
  • Coordination with the Private Banking to ensure that all processes are clearly defined and fully compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Oversee the administrative needs of the teams within his/her area of responsibility.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Service Quality & Customer Satisfaction – Ensures timely resolution of customer concerns, delivers quality service aligned with Service Level Commitments, maintains process quality standards, and proactively identifies and addresses operational issues.
  • Operational Excellence & Productivity Management – Oversees staffing, workload distribution, production schedules, and resource utilization to achieve productivity, cost-efficiency, and performance targets while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • People Leadership & Development – Evaluates training needs, facilitates cross-training and employee development, conducts regular performance reviews and mentoring, and promotes employee engagement and continuous learning.
  • Continuous Improvement & Project Management – Leads and supports process improvement initiatives, Six Sigma projects, and other organizational programs to enhance efficiency, service delivery, and overall business performance.
  • Compliance, Risk & Governance – Ensures adherence to bank policies, audit and control requirements, safety standards, housekeeping practices, and control plans while maintaining strong compliance, risk management, and operational governance.
