Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Governance Officer to join our growing team.

This role is for construction professionals who have delivered projects from the ground up and want to shape HOW projects are delivered, not just deliver them.

This is not a routine mid-level role.

You will flag and act on risks before they even reach the table.

You will analyze trends, challenge assumptions, and influence better decisions.

You will drive governance, champion transformation, and raise the standard of project delivery.

You will build capability, strengthen accountability, and create systems that enable teams to perform at their best.

You will step in wherever the project needs you, because governance isn't confined to one phase of a project. It's embedded in all of them.

We're looking for someone who has been there and wants to do more. Someone who:
  • Has built a solid foundation through a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Has spent at least 3-5 years delivering, supporting, or governing complex construction projects.
  • Understands what it takes to see a project through, from inception to closeout.
  • Brings experience from a Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering Consultancy, or Construction Consultancy environment.
  • Has developed reporting, governance frameworks, procedures, dashboards, or systems that made projects run better, not just generated more paperwork.
  • Currently possessing or pursuing a PMP certification. Here, we value continuous learning and development.
You'll enjoy this role if you're the kind of person who:
  • Refuses to accept that's how we've always done it.
  • Sees patterns before others do and turns data into action.
  • Brings structure where there's ambiguity and clarity where there's complexity.
  • Is as comfortable building a dashboard as challenging a decision that doesn't add up.
  • Earns trust by asking the right questions, not just having the right answers.
  • Can influence experienced project teams without relying on authority.
  • Takes pride in raising standards, developing people, and leaving every project stronger than they found it.
  • Believes governance isn't about control but about enabling better project outcomes.
If you want to take the next big step in your professional career, then this is the role for you.
