SN Aboitiz Power Group is looking for a strategic leader to head our Project Finance division. This role is pivotal in driving the commercial viability and valuation of our diverse renewable energy pipeline, including BESS, hydro, solar, and hybrid projects.
As the Project Finance Sr. Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to develop and vet high-stakes commercial business cases. You will serve as the primary bridge between project development and key corporate functions like Strategy, Finance, and Regulatory, ensuring our projects are positioned for maximum profitability and strategic value.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Lead the creation of complex, cash-flow-based financial models and perform sensitivity analyses on macroeconomic and regulatory drivers.
- Commercial Strategy: Design pricing methods (FIT, auctions, bilateral) and recommend deal structures that protect and enhance the company's business cases.
- Project Development Support: Provide commercial expertise during EPC tendering, contract negotiations, and the securing of tax/BOI incentives.
- Team Management: Manage and coach a dedicated team of Project Finance Specialists and Associates, establishing rigorous modeling standards and quality controls.
- Strategic Reporting: Develop and present critical decision-gate appraisal reports and presentation decks for the Board and Investment Committee.
Who We Are Looking For
- Industry Experts: You possess a superb understanding of the Philippine power industry, WESM, and the competitive landscape.
- Technical Masters: You are an expert in Excel and VBA with a strong background in financial analysis and capital budgeting.
- Proven Leaders: You have at least 5 years of substantial experience in the energy market, specifically in business development and financial modeling.
- Education: A Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Mathematics is required. A Master's degree or CFA designation is preferred.
