WE ARE LOOKING FOR .....Responsible for preliminary review and assessment of proposed projects supporting the strategic initiatives of the Company, efficient and timely tracking of realization of committed benefits vs approved plans and working with partners on various BUs to ensure compliance of projects to Project Approval and Governance Standard.
  • Reviews business cases on a detailed basis, ensuring the minimum critical requirements for decision on the proposed project are met.
  • Leads discussions with Project Owners and Leads to gain an in-depth understanding of the proposed project, to drive clarity in the details presented.
  • Challenges underlying benefits assumptions and assesses reasonableness
  • Provides recommendation to Project Governance Head, highlighting items that may need to be considered in the decision-making process
  • Follows through with Project Teams during benefits realization phase for efficient and timely tracking of actual benefits realized vs. commitments Assesses basis of actual performance reported as well as reasonableness of go-to-Green plans, if any.
  • Coordinates closely with the Project Lead/Manager to obtain visibility on planned projects. Works on consolidation and submission of Monthly Pipeline Projects Report to Group Office.
  • Analyzes Benefit Tracking reports submitted by Project Teams and consolidates information to present Portfolio Benefits Tracking and Pipeline Reports for Monthly ExCo and Program Steering Committee meetings.
  • Works with various BUs to close out any concerns raised by Group Stakeholders (Group Finance - Project Mgt Ofc, Group TDA Transformation Office, GMM, GFS, etc) eg BC details, benefit commitments/tracking, etc.
  • Escalates issues noted to PA Lead together with background, options/impacts considered, and proposed resolution/s
  • Promotes adherence to Project Approval and Governance Standard in discussions with various teams and ensures this is followed in the project approval process.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements
