Job Description
Position Summary
iSupport Worldwide is seeking an experienced Project Estimator to support large-scale U.S. construction projects, primarily focused on multi-family podium and multi-level developments. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, performing detailed quantity take-offs, analyzing bids, and supporting value engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong general contractor experience, deep knowledge of U.S. construction practices and codes, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain strong working knowledge of generally accepted construction practices, safety standards, building types, codes, and systems
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and reports to clearly define project scope and requirements
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs across multiple CSI divisions for multi-family podium and multi-level projects
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive estimates, budgets, assumptions, and clarifications
• Analyze, level, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids during the bidding process
• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and pricing variances and recommend appropriate resolutions
• Validate project budgets by collaborating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders using historical cost data
• Support and contribute to value engineering efforts in collaboration with trade partners and design teams
• Participate in design team and internal coordination meetings
• Provide ad hoc support to other departments as needed, including coordination tasks, invoice consolidation, and change order tracking
Required Qualifications
• At least 4–5 years of experience as a Project Estimator with a general contractor
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on U.S.-based construction projects
• Proven experience estimating multi-family, multi-level, or podium projects with at least 150+ residential units
• Experience handling projects with budgets of USD 50M or higher
• Strong hands-on knowledge of U.S. building codes and construction standards
• Ability to estimate across multiple CSI divisions, including mechanical, electrical, concrete, flooring, HVAC, plumbing, framing, and related trades
• Experience using estimating and take-off software such as PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience estimating large-scale multi-family podium projects with 300+ units
• Familiarity with ConstructConnect or similar bidding and take-off platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
