Job Summary

Project Engineering Specialist will support CAD documentation, BOMs, engineering drawings, work instructions, and test procedures for manufacturing and product transfer activities. This project-based role will support the transfer of ESVM (Electro-Static Voltmeter) Probes and other global product transfer initiatives, with potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain CAD drawings, BOMs, engineering documentation, and product records to ensure accuracy and configuration control.
  • Develop, review, and revise manufacturing work instructions, process flows, and test procedures to support production readiness.
  • Support the transfer of ESVM (Electro-Static Voltmeter) Probe products by coordinating technical documentation and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to resolve documentation gaps and facilitate smooth product implementation.
  • Assist with engineering change management, process validation, and troubleshooting activities during product transfer and ramp-up.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide engineering support for additional product transfer projects across AE global sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineer/ Technologist and other related engineering degrees
  • Strong foundation in engineering/ technology principles, including circuit analysis, analog/digital design, and power electronics.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, systems, and measurement techniques
  • Experience or exposure to embedded systems, microcontrollers, FPGA, or SoC architectures
  • Ability to analyze technical problems and apply structured engineering methods to develop solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
