The Role
- Reviews engineering designs for roads, pads, and related civil/structural works
- Monitors construction activities and inspects completed work for compliance with geothermal field practices
- Reviews and coordinates construction plans and schedules with field personnel to minimize disruption and maximum progress
- Prepares and provides project scope, safety hazard analysis, work procedures, and construction methodology
- Ensures adherence to approved project scope and documents non-conformance with design and quality standards
- Conducts pre-construction, project start-up, and daily toolbox meetings with client stakeholders and business partners
- Prepares detailed S-curve and bar chart work schedules for status updates and Earned Value Management (EVM) monitoring
- Reviews project cost estimates, tracks expense, analyzes quantity surveying data report, and monitors progress billing
The Individual
- Licensed Geodetic Engineer or Civil Engineer
- At least five (5) years of experience in surveying design and road construction, preferably within the energy sector
- Experienced in quantity surveying and project cost control
- Proficient in survey design and project management; skilled in the use of 3D software and knowledgeable in interpreting data from Total Station and RTK survey equipment
- Strong background in reviewing construction plans, conducting site inspections, and ensuring safety compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to be based in Bay, Laguna, with extensive travel to project sites
