As C9 Project Engineer, you will manage engineering assessments, technical planning, execution, and on-site monitoring of electrical and electro-mechanical systems to maximize plant reliability and availability, reduce generation loss, and successfully execute engineering improvement projects. and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Outage and Project Manager to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Project Execution & Monitoring: Support technical planning, resource procurement (spare parts and consumables), external contractor readiness, and execution monitoring for mechanical and electrical works across the project lifecycle.
• System Oversight: Oversee critical pumped-storage plant assets, including reversible pump-turbines, motor-generators, main inlet valves, high-voltage transformers, switchgear, and auxiliary fluid or control systems.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all installation, testing, and commissioning activities conform strictly to approved technical specifications, environmental and safety regulations, and project milestones.
• Contractor & Site Coordination: Supervise daily site works, coordinate closely with contractors to resolve technical bottlenecks, and perform routine field verifications to compare physical progress against baseline schedules.
• Technical Documentation: Review engineering designs, method statements, material submittals, and inspection/test reports prior to sign-off and operational handovers. Update the technical drawing and manual based as part of Management of Change guidelines.

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

• Has a strong working knowledge of high-voltage electrical grids, fluid mechanics, plant maintenance management systems (PMMS), and project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Is willing and able to work on-site at regional plant locations in the Laguna region and strictly adhere to industrial safety policies and practices.
• Demonstrates effective communication and technical coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of hands-on project engineering experience, preferably within power generation, substations, or heavy industrial infrastructure (direct experience in hydroelectric or pumped-storage power plants strongly preferred)

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of high-voltage electrical grids, fluid mechanics, plant maintenance management systems (PMMS), and project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project
• Willingness and ability to work on-site at regional plant locations (Laguna region) and strictly adhere to industrial safety policies and practices
