Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform geotechnical analyses of soil samples and assess site conditions for construction and marine infrastructure projects.
  • Analyse soil parameters and evaluate the stability of structures under normal and seismic conditions.
  • Provide geotechnical input for dredging production planning and reclamation works.
  • Verify and validate soil conditions during project execution.
  • Prepare soil databases, geological models, and Geotechnical Interpretative Reports (GIR).
  • Design, analyse, and recommend ground improvement solutions for structural support.
  • Manage and supervise ground improvement works and site investigations.
  • Review and approve geotechnical designs developed by third-party consultants.
  • Lead field inspection activities, including silt monitoring and soil testing.
  • Support tender evaluations, technical proposals, and project cost estimates.
  • Ensure QA/QC compliance in design, data processing, and field activities.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Geotechnical, Geology, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in similar role and industry.
  • Experience in dredging and civil marine projects is highly preferred.
