Job Purpose/Summary:
- Lead the construction team and manage the day to day work on site
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the main contractor on site for daily activity
- Supervise and monitor the site labor force
- Oversee the storage and use of materials delivered on site
- Efficiently organize the plant , materials deliveries and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
- Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per the specifications and drawings
- Ensure only current shop drawings are used and work is executed as per these shop drawings
- Ensure that all quality control forms are filled out and records are managed as per the Project Quality Plan
- Oversee health and safety matters on site
- Resolve any small technical difficulties or other problems that may arise on a daily basis
- Report any difficulty or issue that is not resolved immediately to the sites manager
- Ensure implementation of the HSE procedures on site
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related course
- With at least 3 to 5 years experience as Project Engineer
- Experience in Post-tensioning and Retro-Fitting are required
- Experience in both new build and repair projects
- With strong supervisory skills
- Excellent on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Willing to be assigned in any location and shift
