Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring construction activities are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Monitor land development and civil works, including earthworks, grading, roadworks, drainage systems, and utility installations.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams for efficient project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methods for proper implementation.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, equipment, and material utilization to meet project schedules.
- Verify work accomplishments, quantities, and contractor billings for project monitoring and processing.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Identify site issues, risks, and delays, and coordinate solutions with the project team.
- Prepare site reports, attend coordination meetings, and support project completion and turnover activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- PRC Licensed Civil Engineer (Preferred)
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a Project Site Engineer or in a similar construction role
- Extensive experience in land development and horizontal development projects, particularly in earthworks, roadworks, drainage systems, grading, and utility infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of construction management, QA/QC, project scheduling, contract administration, and site supervision
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites as required
