PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER III


Status of Employment : Permanent

Salary Grade : SG 18 (Php 53,818.00)

CSC Minimum Qualification Standards:


Education : Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job

Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience

Eligibility : Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility



Preferred Qualification Standards:

Education : Bachelor's degree preferably in Management, Entrepreneurship, Development Studies, Community Development or any business related courses

Training : At least 4 hours relevant training in social entrepreneurship, module development, training plan and implementation or program development

Experience : At least 1 year experience in line with the social enterprise development

Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility

Skills:Computer literate with advance knowledge in MS Office applications,capable of preparing project proposal reports, community organizingskills, knowledge on project management


Primary Tasks:


  1. Ensure integration of specialization in the development of programs

  2. Prepare consolidated reports and submits recommendations based on observations and submitted reports of the Bureau and Regions relative to specialization

  3. Identify and recommends additional function of bureaus for a more effective implementation of programs

  4. Identify areas for action research necessary for the development of the different welfare programs

  5. Recommend other programs which may complement/supplement or modify existing programs/projects

  6. Assist in liaison work with other government agencies and non-government organizations if need arises

  7. Assist in the preparation of materials and literature on the different programs

  8. Assist in other integrated government and civic projects/programs on social welfare

  9. Assist LGAs, LGUs, NGOs, and POs in the development, preparation, and packaging of project proposals

  10. Formulate policies and procedures to simplify availment of funding requests and/or selection/endorsement of projects for fund matching

  11. Develop assessment tools for review/screening/endorsement of project proposals

  12. Establish and maintain linkages with donor agencies both local and international through sectoral meetings/consultations, workshops/writeshop conferences/project fairs and participation in foreign missions

  13. Develop monitoring guidelines, tools and reporting system

  14. Conduct assessment and evaluations of social welfare development projects implemented by LGUs, NGOs, and POs

  15. Establish data bank of projects with funding support and its current status prepares and submits required reports to donor organization and

  16. Perform other assignments that may be required from time to time.
