SolarBio is a fast-growing Philippine clean-energy developer building solar, battery-storage and resilience infrastructure for public institutions. We are hiring a driven early-career professional to lead the development push on two flagship projects currently under exclusive negotiation — a province-wide public-facility solar-plus-storage network serving dozens of local-government sites, and a multi-campus solar program for a major state university — reporting directly to the CEO, a lawyer with international experience and a track record of success built on integrity.

This begins as a focused six-month consultancy, not a standard hire — real ownership and direct principal access from day one, with strong potential to convert into a regular position at SolarBio as the projects reach financial close. That conversion is your immediate career growth path.

This is a sprint with a scoreboard: your first mission is to assemble the investment proposal for presentation to the I-Grid board (target: October 8 or November 10, 2026), then lead preparation of the formal PPP unsolicited proposal under RA 11966. You will be given real responsibility, direct principal access, and a seat at every table that matters.

•  Own the data. Plan and run information-gathering across both projects: facility walk-downs and load data across dozens of public sites; an authorized multi-campus validation exercise in coordination with university campus offices; 12-month billing histories; utility, structural and site records.

•  Manage the stakeholders. Coordinate day-to-day with LGU and university focal persons, the relevant electric cooperatives, and our engineering, legal and financial consultants; keep minutes, action logs and document control impeccable.

•  Engage international investors. Support due-diligence requests and help prepare materials for Japanese and other international investors evaluating the projects; represent SolarBio credibly in cross-border meetings and calls.

•  Build the board pack. Drive the I-Grid board proposal: feed validated inputs into the financial model, keep the memorandum, decks and one-pagers consistent, manage versioning, and prepare the CEO for the presentation.

•  Lead the PPP proposal. After the board, help assemble the RA 11966 unsolicited-proposal package: Original Proponent Status filing, technical and financial volumes, and coordination with the PPP Center and the LGUs through the Swiss Challenge.

•  Run the drumbeat. Own the project calendar and weekly progress reporting; escalate blockers early; make deadlines non-events.

•  By mid-September 2026: multi-campus validation substantially complete; billing-data requests lodged with all participating LGUs.

•  Board-pack freeze: complete, internally consistent proposal ready 10 days before the I-Grid board date (October 8 or November 10, 2026).

•  Q4 2026: RA 11966 unsolicited-proposal package drafted and ready for filing.

•  A young professional (roughly 1–4 years experience, or an exceptional fresh graduate) in engineering, business, economics, public administration or a related field.

•  Excellent written English and Filipino — you can turn messy inputs into clean, board-ready documents.

•  Strong Excel and PowerPoint; comfort with numbers and financial models (we will teach you project finance).

•  Confident and courteous with government offices; willing to travel regularly to project sites in Luzon (staff housing and meals provided on field deployments; a driver's license is a plus).

•  Organized to a fault, deadline-driven, and hungry to lead — this role is a fast track to project leadership as the pipeline closes.

•  Ambitious, with values: we prize drive matched with honesty and fair dealing — integrity is non-negotiable in government-facing work.

•  Consultancy fee: ₱45,000/month, engaged as a project consultant (not a regular employee) for an initial six-month term, paid as a professional fee subject to standard withholding tax.

•  Connectivity allowance: ₱5,000/month for internet and mobile.

•  Milestone bonuses: ₱25,000 on board approval of the proposal; ₱50,000 on acceptance of the Original Proponent Status filing; ₱250,000 on financial close of either flagship project.

•  Field support: all travel expenses covered; staff housing and meal benefits during out-of-town deployments.

•  Setup: 5-day week, hybrid (2–3 days in office or field); laptop can be provided.

•  Tools: full access to Google Workspace and AI productivity tools (Claude and others) to move faster on research, drafting and analysis.

•  Regularization: strong performers are converted into a full-time position at SolarBio at the end of the six-month term, with compensation reviewed and increased at that point — and again as the flagship projects reach financial close.

•  Growth: direct mentorship by the CEO; a defined path to Project Manager within SolarBio.
