We are seeking an experienced Project Development Engineer is responsible for the planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of engineering projects from concept to implementation. The role involves conducting technical studies, project feasibility assessments, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring project compliance with technical, regulatory, and company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate project concepts, plans, and engineering solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and site evaluations.
- Prepare project proposals, technical specifications, scope of work, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Review engineering drawings, designs, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor project development activities and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and progress updates for management.
- Identify project risks, issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in project bidding, tender evaluation, and contractor selection.
- Coordinate procurement requirements and material specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning, construction, operations, and maintenance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 2 years experience in planning and scheduling
Experience in construction, power plant, transmission line, substation, or infrastructure projects preferred
