Role Description This is a contract, on-site Project Design Engineer role based in Calabarzon, Philippines. The Project Design Engineer will develop, review, and optimize engineering designs and project plans, ensuring alignment with client requirements, standards, and budget constraints. Daily tasks include preparing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation; coordinating with mechanical and electrical teams; and supporting project feasibility assessments. The role involves collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to track progress, resolve design issues, and provide technical input during installation or construction phases. The engineer will also participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance project quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong project design and design engineering skills, including the ability to translate requirements into practical, detailed plans.
Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and applications relevant to industrial or facility projects.
Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, systems, and standards used in integrated project designs.
Experience with project management, including scheduling, coordination, and documentation of engineering activities.
Familiarity with CAD and other design software tools; ability to produce and interpret technical drawings.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects in the Philippines is an advantage.
