Job Description

The ProjectCost Analyst will support project budgeting, cost monitoring, procurement tracking, financial reporting, and operational coordination across multiple construction and development projects. The role will work closely with the CEO, COO, project teams, QS consultants, and finance stakeholders to ensure projects remain aligned with approved budgets, timelines, and financial targets.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in project coordination, construction finance, cost control, procurement monitoring, or project accounting who are looking to grow in a dynamic project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Budget & Cost Monitoring

  • Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenses, and cash flow utilization across multiple projects
  • Track project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets and financial plans
  • Help prepare budget variance reports and cost monitoring summaries
  • Support cost control initiatives and identify areas for operational efficiency

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare project financial reports, trackers, dashboards, and monitoring files
  • Consolidate project-related financial and operational data for management reporting
  • Assist in project forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and project performance analysis
  • Support the preparation of per-project P&Ls and project financial summaries

Procurement & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with procurement, QS, project management, and finance teams regarding project expenses and documentation
  • Monitor procurement requests, purchase tracking, and project-related financial records
  • Ensure project documentation and reporting requirements are complete and organized

Governance & Process Improvement

  • Support implementation of project controls, monitoring systems, and reporting processes
  • Assist in maintaining proper documentation, internal controls, and reporting accuracy
  • Help improve operational workflows and monitoring practices across projects

Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with operations, finance, procurement, and external stakeholders to support project execution
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the COO and management team on project-related initiatives
  • Participate in special projects and operational improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications:


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • CPA license is not required
  • At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in:
    • Project coordination
    • Construction finance
    • Cost control
    • Project accounting
    • Procurement monitoring
    • Real estate or construction operations
  • Experience supporting multiple projects is preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with:
    • Budget monitoring
    • Cost tracking
    • Cash flow monitoring
    • Procurement coordination
    • Financial reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools
  • Experience using ERP/accounting systems is an advantage
  • Exposure to construction, real estate, or project-based industries is preferred

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with good follow-through
  • Able to coordinate effectively with different teams and stakeholders
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to learn and grow within project finance and controls functions
