Project Coordinator Job Description
We are looking for a tech-savvy Project Coordinator with a degree in Information Technology (or a related field) to streamline our project lifecycles. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring that project tools are optimized, data is secure, and technical milestones are achieved.
The ideal candidate understands the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and can manage project logistics with a systems-thinking mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems Administration: Set up and maintain project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com) and ensure team-wide adoption.
- Technical Documentation: Translate complex technical updates into clear progress reports for non-technical stakeholders.
- Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in project processes and implement automated solutions or integrations to improve efficiency.
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Manage project databases, ensuring all KPIs and metrics are accurately captured and visualized via dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel).
- Quality Assurance (QA) Support: Assist in coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and tracking bug reports during the project execution phase.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues that may delay project timelines.
Preferred Skills
- CompTIA Project+ or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
