Job Description - Project Coordinator (Flooring Industry)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Project Coordinator with experience in the flooring industry, particularly tile installation. The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects by working closely with estimators, installers, and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee flooring projects from initiation to completion
- Personally assist and follow up on each job with estimators and installers to ensure timely execution
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to maintain quality standards
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, estimators, and installers
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and schedules
- Identify and resolve issues that may affect project timelines or quality
- Support the team in ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in the flooring industry, specifically tile installation projects
- Minimum of 2-3 years of project coordination or related experience
