Instrumentation Support Engineer – WSP Research Centre, Lower Hutt

Our WSP Research Centre in Petone is looking for an IT graduate (or equivalent) with a couple of years experience and a strong interest in electronics and systems‑based technologies.

You'll support the Senior Operational Specialist, contributing to day‑to‑day operations, continuous improvement initiatives, maintenance and implementation. Providing strong stakeholder support, with opportunities for occasional travel across Aotearoa New Zealand and offshore to support instrumentation monitoring installations.

About you:

• A Qualification in Information technology, information science, electronics, computer systems engineering, instrumentation engineering or relevant field.
• Preferably minimum of 2 years of experience in related discipline.
• Experience in IT support, helpdesk or similar
• Working knowledge of electronics, sensors, or embedded devices.
