Preferably based in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur

(Territory coverage: La Union - Ilocos - Laoag)

Job Summary:

The Professional Medical Representative (PMR) for the CNS Business Unit is responsible for the ethical promotion of the company's CNS pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals. The role aims to build strong professional relationships, enhance product awareness, and drive prescription demand while ensuring strict compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and performance objectives for CNS products.
  • Execute territory plans aligned with overall CNS business strategies.
  • Conduct regular field visits to target healthcare professionals including neurologists, psychiatrists, and relevant specialists.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth within the assigned territory.

Product Promotion & Medical Detailing

  • Deliver accurate, balanced, and compliant product detailing focused on CNS therapies and disease states.
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, clinical data, and appropriate use.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CNS disease areas, treatment guidelines, and competitor products.
  • Support promotional initiatives such as medical meetings, hospital activities, and continuing medical education programs.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key healthcare providers and decision-makers.
  • Identify and develop key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the assigned territory.
  • Provide timely and professional follow-up on customer inquiries and requests.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor and report competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain accurate call logs, sales reports, and expense documentation using company-approved systems.
  • Submit reports on time and in accordance with company standards.

Compliance & Ethics

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, local regulatory requirements, and industry codes of ethics.
  • Promptly report adverse drug reactions, product complaints, or safety concerns.
  • Conduct all activities with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology, Biology, or a related field.
  • Candidates from non-medical courses with relevant pharmaceutical sales experience may be considered.

Experience

  • Preferably 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience or exposure in CNS / Neurology / Psychiatry products is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic performance and high learning agility may be considered.
