Job Description

The Project Driver will provide dedicated transport and logistical support to the project team (Urgent Bridges Project), ensuring safe, efficient, and timely land travel to various project sites across the country. The role requires experience in long-distance driving and the ability to navigate diverse road conditions, including remote and off-road terrain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide land transportation support for project staff, JV consultants, and client to project sites nationwide
  • Ensure vehicles are in excellent working condition through routine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance coordination
  • Maintain daily travel logs, fuel consumption records, and vehicle condition reports
  • Support the logistics team in transporting equipment, documents, and supplies for field activities
  • Comply with road safety regulations, company vehicle policies, and project protocols
  • Assist in minor field coordination during site visits, including navigating unfamiliar areas and liaising with local contacts

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent; vocational or TESDA training in automotive/mechanics is a plus
  • Must have a valid professional driver's license (Restriction Codes 1, 2, and 3 at minimum)
  • With at least 35 years of experience as a professional/project driver, preferably in development or infrastructure projects
  • Extensive experience in nationwide land travel for site visits, including long-distance driving and travel coordination
  • Familiarity with various road conditions and terrains (e.g., mountainous, off-road, coastal routes)
  • Physically fit, alert, and able to work extended hours or travel on short notice
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to vehicle care and passenger safety
  • Can communicate effectively and courteously with project staff and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting donor-funded or government infrastructure projects (e.g., ADB, DPWH, LGU-implemented projects)
  • Familiar with project fieldwork dynamics and multi-site deployment schedules
