BASIC FUNCTION
The Production Supervisor oversees shift operations to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency while maintaining safety and compliance. Collaborates with co-supervisors in planning, organizing, and monitoring production activities to meet company objectives and KPIs. Promotes continuous improvement, lean practices, and initiatives that support organizational growth and sustainability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To supervise assigned shift effectively to deliver required quality and delivery commitments at the least possible cost.
- To work together, and continually coordinate with co-supervisor on production planning, organizing, reporting, and controlling functions.
- To consistently lead and motivate the team to achieve company objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- To safeguard the safety of production personnel as well as related company assets and production tools and equipment.
- To actively pursue and promote continuous improvement (CI) and other lean manufacturing practices
QUALIFICATION GUIDES
- Preferably engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical) or food technology graduate with solid background in dairy/food processing.
- At least a year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledgeable in GMP, ISO standards, and SAP, with proficiency in MS Office and basic equipment operations.
- Demonstrates strong time management, teamwork, and resilience under pressure, with a fair, honest, and persistent work ethic.
- Holds various certifications in food safety, GMP, sanitation, hygiene, and food handling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
