Production Supervisor

Company Description

Ritual Matcha Co. imports and distributes high-quality matcha from Japan for bulk and wholesale customers. The company primarily serves foodservice businesses such as cafés, restaurants. The company also supports matcha brands through white-labeling solutions.

Role Description

The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila. This role is an opportunity to own the control layer of a growing food production operation, and to build the systems that keep output, quality and records reliable as the company scales.

Your role would include the following:

• Supervise the production team and make sure it hits its targets for output, capacity, and lead times
• Audit and approve the daily production logs, inventory logs, and hygiene checklists submitted by the Production Team Lead
• Approve the daily packing list based on current inventory levels and customer demand
• Enforce SOPs, food safety, and quality standards on the packing floor
• Investigate variances between recorded and actual production and inventory, and keep the data accurate
• Maintain operational records for inventory reporting, food safety, and quality assurance
• Run a regular cadence of improvement, maintenance, and packing operations reviews, and document SOPs as processes change

Qualifications

• Rigorous with documentation and enjoys catching the errors others miss
• Comfortable holding the floor accountable to a standard without compromising the relationship with the team
• Detail-oriented and proactive in solving problems before they arise
• Effective and empathetic communicator with partners, contractors, and internal teams
• Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets, and willing to learn new tools as needed
• Experience with FDA, HACCP, or GMP documentation is an advantage
