The Production Supervisor – Compounding Cream is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the daily operations of the compounding area to ensure that cream products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards, GMP requirements, and production schedules. The position is also responsible for supervising manpower, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise daily compounding operations for cream products.
- Ensure that production targets and schedules are achieved efficiently and on time.
- Monitor proper weighing, mixing, batching, and processing of raw materials based on approved formulations and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation standards, and safety procedures.
- Conduct line monitoring and ensure product quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Maintenance Departments regarding production concerns and requirements.
- Monitor machine and equipment performance and immediately report any issues or abnormalities.
- Ensure proper documentation of production records, batch records, and operational reports.
- Supervise and evaluate production personnel, including attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance.
- Conduct orientation and training of newly hired employees and production staff regarding operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and minimize wastage or downtime.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products within the production area.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the compounding area at all times.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
