Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production team to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide training and support to production workers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing production schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure materials and resources are available.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Ensure products meet quality standards.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles to streamline production processes.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to the Plant Director.
• Ensure all production documentation is up-to-date and correctly filed.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Maintain open communication with all levels of the organization.
• Monitor and analyze production scrap to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and enforce procedures to minimize waste and improve material utilization.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure scrap reduction targets are met.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
