The role
We are looking for a
Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations for chemical/adhesive products. The role will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production, including the repackaging of adhesive products.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to meet quality, productivity, safety, and delivery targets.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules based on customer orders and business requirements.
- Manage and continuously improve production processes, workflows, and resource utilization.
- Supervise adhesive repackaging and ensure products meet established quality and technical standards.
- Monitor production performance, costs, waste, and efficiency, and implement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO 9001 requirements, EHS standards, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Oversee production equipment, workplace safety, inspections, and emergency preparedness.
- Prepare production reports and performance metrics.
- Lead and develop production personnel as the team expands.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in production operations involving chemical products — must-have.
- Strong understanding of production planning, process improvement, quality management, and cost control.
- Knowledge or awareness of EHS and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, careful, and cooperative.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
- Having a personal vehicle is an advantage, as occasional work may be required at a third-party warehouse in Laguna.
