Purpose Of The Position
Ensure entire process of the endorsed project from the sample, 1st run and mass production (checkpoint and possible revisions during sample/1st run) within the standard quality.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Monitoring and updating of master plan
- Material controller (ensure that materials are readily available)
- Checking if machine is operational
- Ensuring delivery schedules are met (due date vs actual delivery)
- Delegate tasks and ensure due dates and quality standards are met through proper line balancing
- Designate operators/contractors to a specified machine (powder coating/digital only)
- Preparation and allocation of RD prior dispatch (finishing only)
- Other task/duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills And Attitudes
- Must know how to read and understand technical drawing and plans
- With good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
- Willing to be trained for additional knowledge and skills
- With basic analytical, problem-solving skills and decision making, able to conduct line balancing and advance troubleshooting with priority management
- Multi skilled can be assigned in different sanctions
- Can work under minimal to no supervision
- Good inter personal relationship with peers and other co-workers
