Job Overview
Supervise shift operations to ensure timely, cost-effective production of quality goods in line with PPIC schedules. Drive continuous improvement in processes, equipment, manpower, and compliance with standards. Identify training needs and support staff development.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Enforce GMP, GLCP, HACCP, and company policies; report food safety deviations.
- Ensure smooth shift turnover and alignment with PPIC production plans.
- Inspect plant operations, monitor quality, yields, costs, equipment, and safety; escalate major deviations.
- Confirm preventive/corrective maintenance schedules with Engineering.
- Review and document production performance, downtime, yields, and corrective actions.
- Manage physical counts of materials, supplies, and finished goods.
- Conduct production trials and verify HACCP critical control points.
- Lead staff dialogues, track agreed actions, and oversee KPI reviews.
- Support technicians/sanitarians during weekends/holidays and oversee preventive maintenance.
- Contribute to cost rationalization and yield optimization projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned and uphold 5S housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or Technical School.
- Minimum 2 years experience in food manufacturing/production operations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Decisive, systematic, and organized; able to work independently.
- Responsible, with sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
