Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor production plans based on demand, inventory levels, production capacity, and shipment requirements.
  • Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Logistics to ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, material usage, production output, and variances; identify and address potential shortages or excess inventory.
  • Track production progress against plans and coordinate adjustments to prevent delays and ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Maintain accurate production planning and inventory records and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning, inventory control, productivity, and material utilization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or related manufacturing functions.
  • Experience in food or tuna/salmon manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, production planning, material requirements planning, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and coordinate effectively with different departments.
