JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules. The position uses the SAP system to create and manage production plans, monitor material availability, and coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand
- Create, update, and monitor production plans and work orders using the SAP system
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse to ensure timely supply for production
- Track production progress and revise schedules as needed to meet delivery requirements
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods through SAP
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and other departments to resolve production and material issues
- Prepare production reports and maintain accurate planning records in SAP
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency and reduce delays
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Perform other duties assigned by the Production Planning Supervisor or PPC Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related course
- At least 1–3 years of experience in production planning, production control, or a manufacturing environment
- Experience using SAP, preferably SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) modules
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skill
- Able to work under pressure and meet production and customer delivery deadlines
