Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible to performs various duties that includes set-up, assembly, test, troubleshoot, and repair of optoelectronic products. Uses a variety of assembly and test equipment including optical power meters, digital multimeters, laser source, and other input/output optoelectronic test devices.
Education & Experience
- Graduate of any Technical/Vocational School or minimum 1 year in college
- With 1-3 years of experience in Semiconductor or Electronics / Optolectronics Industry
Skills
- LExperience on start-up manufacturing set-up. Effective, hard worker and a team-player with can-do attitude.
- Experience in handling micro-optics components, optical fiber, cleaning of optical surfaces is a plus. Experience on operation of optical power meter, fusion splicer, optical fiber clever, and other optoelectronic manufacturing equipment and tools is a significant advantage. Basic computer skills and with knowledge of MS Office based applications (Word/Excel).
- Ability to read and follow work instructions. Work within the limits of prescribed procedures, specifications, technical manuals, schematics, and written/verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills required for interaction within group. Ability to establish open communications and effective working relationship with other personnel.
- With very fine hand motor skills - steady and can handle very small components with ease.
- Initiative- Possesses the quality of knowing what has to be done; execute activities in advance of need
- Interpersonal Communication- Has the ability to identify and understand personal values of superiors, subordinates, peers and others
- Flexibility - flexible with assigned process operations and can be cross-trained and meet output responsibility to his/her assigned process.
- Ability to get to work on time and perform overtime as needed to meet any delivery schedules
Working Conditions
- This role is 100% onsite
- Shifting working schedule including night shift. Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed including weekends
