Brief Job Description
The Production Officer is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with food safety and operational policies. The role coordinates with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, maintain productivity targets, and support continuous improvement in plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and company safety standards.
- Monitor in-process quality control and ensure products meet required specifications.
- Supervise production personnel, ensuring proper manpower utilization and performance.
- Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, workflow planning, and quality control.
- Experience supervising or leading production teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with production or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
