Job Summary
A Production Manager is both a project manager and a creative problem solver with a single mission – to make things happen.This role bridges strategy and execution, translating production goals into daily operational plans while managing people, resources, and timelines.
You will oversee the production process and coordinate all activities to ensure enough resources on hand. You are a champion in planning schedules, estimate costs and budgets to ensure workflow meets the required deadlines. A Production Manager will collaborate closely with the production team including directors, camera operators, editors, as well as the salespeople, designers, strategists, and external contributors to bring to life native advertising campaigns, booked by the largest and most popular brands in the Philippines.
Responsibilities
- Organize deadlines of all production requirements for both video and photoshoots, including pre-production, production and post-production
- Oversee the delivery of video and photoshoot project from end-to-end
- Coordinate with key personnel and ensure a fluid collaboration with each department involved in production
- Develop and negotiate project timelines and deliverables
- Monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Liaise with contributors, talents and suppliers required to deliver project requirements
- Prepare and secure approvals for costings and payments
- Plan and execute shoots and live broadcasts
- Resolve any problems that may arise
- Participate in team huddles, brainstorming sessions and other activities
- Report to upper management with project outputs, monthly trackers and KPIs
Qualifications
- Candidates have a proven background in production and operations management with at least 1-2 years work experience as a producer or project manager in an ad agency or media company
- Strong leadership and team management skills with solid understanding of production planning
- Preferably with background in multimedia production (animation, video, photo, audio) and/or website and digital media projects
- Proven experience in handling budgets and costings, including planning, monitoring expenditures, and maintaining financial accuracy
- Proficiency with basic Office software - Excel, PowerPoint, Word - a must; knowledge of project management tools - MS Project, Notion - an advantage
- Occasionally, successful candidate may need to work beyond office hours or on weekends/holidays as required by the project or during peak periods
