Production Manager (Semiconductor)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Manager / Section Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role will be responsible for driving daily production performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and cleanroom discipline.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline;
• Must have at least 5 years of production / manufacturing management experience;
• Hands-on experience in people management and team leadership;
• Strong understanding of production KPIs including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a high-technology manufacturing environment;
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment;
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace discipline;
• Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives;
• Experience developing and implementing training programmes for production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators to achieve production KPIs and business objectives;
• Monitor and drive daily performance across key areas including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity;
• Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency;
• Develop and execute action plans to address production issues and achieve performance targets;
• Implement training programmes to strengthen the technical skills and capabilities of the production team;
• Ensure proper cleanroom cleanliness, housekeeping, and operator discipline are maintained;
• Collaborate with relevant teams to support production performance and achieve operational excellence.
