Role Overview
The Production Manager is responsible for managing production operations, production planning, scheduling, and shop-floor activities. The role focuses on ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, monitoring production performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree or technical diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (adjustable based on level).
- Experience in production planning and scheduling.
- Proven experience with Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Solid background in manufacturing and shop-floor operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in production data analysis and KPI monitoring.
- Knowledgeable in AutoCAD for reading, reviewing, and assisting in preparation of manufacturing layouts, process flow diagrams, or technical drawings.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic production reporting tools
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
