Job Description
Events Production Manager
SAGA · Metro Manila · Full-time
About SAGA
For almost 30 years, SAGA has built live events, brand activations, and experiential campaigns for some of the biggest names in the Philippines. Our work spans gaming and esports, retail, fintech, FMCG, and government and diplomatic events. We handle everything from concept and cost estimate to the last cue on show day. We're an integrated marketing and events agency, which means production doesn't sit apart from the idea. Here, production is how the idea comes to life.
The Role
We're looking for an Events Production Manager who will own the entire production process, from pitch to pack-out. You'll plan and strategize with our Client Engagement and Creatives teams so every project runs with operational excellence. You'll run suppliers and crew, lead quality checks, and be the steady voice on the floor when things move fast. The goal is a show that runs on time, on budget, and better than the client pictured it.
What You'll Do
- Manage and evaluate the full production process for events and activations, from launches and roadshows to concerts, conferences, year-end parties, and multi-city tours
- Contribute to production planning and budgeting, including cost estimates, timelines, and run-of-shows, keeping projects within budget and margin
- Plan with Client Engagement and Creatives to spot production risks and opportunities early, while there's still time to act on them
- Source, negotiate with, and manage suppliers across staging, AV and technical, fabrication, lighting, logistics, and talent
- Lead and monitor quality assessments at every stage (supplier output, fabrication, technical setup, and show execution) to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain a safe production environment by enforcing safety standards during ingress, rehearsals, live operations, and egress
- Run technical rehearsals and live show operations, including call sheets, crew briefings, and cue management
- Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, venues, suppliers, talent, hosts, and KOLs
- Mentor production coordinators and assistants and help strengthen how the team works
- Run post-event evaluation, reconciliation, supplier liquidation, and wrap reports
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of events production experience, ideally at an events, experiential, or integrated marketing agency
- Creative foresight. You read a concept and see what it needs, what could break, and how to make it bigger within the budget
- Strong people skills. You can calm a client, push a supplier, and rally a tired crew at 3 a.m. without losing anyone's respect
- Strong organizational and managerial skills. You can run several projects and teams at once under tight timelines
- Willing to work events outside regular hours, including weekends and out-of-town or regional deployments
