Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight: Ensure that the plant achieves production targets through effective utilization of manpower, materials, machines, and methods at minimal cost.

• Quality Compliance: Monitor and ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.

• Manpower Management: Coordinate with Production Line Supervisors to maintain adequate staffing based on weekly production schedules; monitor and improve manpower efficiency (e.g., man-hour/carton).

• Machine Performance & Maintenance: Oversee machine monitoring, preventive maintenance, repairs, and plant trials to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

• Process Improvement: Evaluate current production processes and equipment; recommend and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency.

• Action Planning: Develop and execute Action Plans to address manufacturing inefficiencies, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.

• Material Coordination: Collaborate with the Warehouse team to ensure sufficient raw, packaging, and general materials for uninterrupted production.

• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, and material usage costs; evaluate and recommend best approaches to the Plant Manager.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Warehouse, and other teams to ensure smooth operations and machine performance optimization.

• People Management & Development: Lead the Production and In-Line Maintenance teams to achieve performance targets; develop direct reports skills and address team grievances promptly.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Sahu-Ulan, Tanza, Cavite

Experience:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing operations, preferably in a plant or FMCG environment, with proven experience in overseeing production processes and team management.
