Focus: High-value custom residential projects
Employment: Full-time, fully remote (Australian hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate cost plans and detailed estimates for bespoke homes.
- Interpret architectural, structural, civil, and services documentation to identify scope, risks, and cost drivers.
- Conduct trade scoping, take-offs, and subcontractor procurement; manage allowances, contingencies, and margins.
- Manage preconstruction budgets, cost forecasts, and variance analysis; support value engineering.
- Ensure compliance with NCC and QBCC requirements.
- Engage with clients, architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Mentor junior estimators and support continuous improvement of estimating systems.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience estimating high-value residential homes in Australia, strong commercial awareness, proficiency in estimating software.
