- BS Electrical Engineering
- Preferably Registered Electrical Engineer
- Strong electrical drawing interpretation
- Single-line diagrams
- Control diagrams
- Wiring diagrams
- Panelboard/switchgear knowledge
- MCCB/ACB/MCB understanding
- Busbar fundamentals
- CT/metering knowledge
- Electrical troubleshooting
- AutoCAD
- BOM interpretation
- Good shop-floor supervision
- Schneider / ABB / Siemens / LS switchgear experience
- ATS/synchronizing panel experience
- LV switchgear testing
- IEC 61439 familiarity
- Protection relay knowledge
- MV switchgear exposure
- Supervise technical electrical production.
- Interpret approved shop drawings and single-line diagrams.
- Verify breaker, busbar, CT, metering and component installation.
- Guide electricians/assemblers.
- Verify wiring requirements.
- Resolve technical production questions.
- Coordinate drawing discrepancies with Design Engineering.
- Prepare/verify production requirements before assembly begins.
- Check BOM against drawings and actual requirements.
- Assist Production Manager in identifying technical production risks.
- Ensure correct installation of electrical components.
- Monitor assembly workmanship.
- Coordinate with QA/QC regarding inspections and testing.
- Assist in troubleshooting failed tests.
- Verify torque requirements and electrical clearances.
- Check busbar arrangement and connections.
- Ensure revisions are properly implemented on the production floor.
- Prepare technical punch lists before QA/QC inspection.
- Report technical blockers immediately to the Production Manager.
